The Home Page Reporting Links |
|
The Survey System "Home Page" contains two reporting functions under the "Current Surveys"
section. The first is the "Export xls Data" column. This link, when clicked,
downloads a current copy of all the survey data to an Excel spreadsheet.
Although you can access this report through the "Standard Reports" Menu, this
provides a quick and easy link for immediate access to the latest
data.

Report Fields
This is a system generated, unique identifier for each Result Report record. This is a user generated, unique reference identifier for each question of each survey in this Result Report. This number is assigned to this particular question during the process of generating the survey question. It can be used for sorting and filtering the data. This is a system generated, unique identifier for each survey reference in this Result Report. This number is assigned to each survey during the process of generating the survey record. It can be used for sorting and filtering the data. This is the text which the respondent to the survey sees displayed for the question. This is the actual response to the question represented in each of the records. This may be any size text, a number, a date, or any other response specified for this question. This is the quantitative value of the response for the question represented in each record. This can be very useful in any statistical analysis of the data since it is always a numeric value. This value directly corresponds to the "QuestionResponse" but can be quantitatively analyzed. For example, if the possible responses are: good (which can equals 1), better (which can equals 2), and best (which can equal 3), averages, standard deviations, and other calculations can be obtained in the analysis for good, better, and best. Obviously, some responses such as dates, and text only answers will not apply and are usually given zero values for this field. This is simply the exact date and time that the response for this record was given by the survey respondent. This can be very useful in data analysis and determining the chronological order of the question responses. This is a system generated User ID given to each of the survey respondents. It is very useful for the analysis of the question data. It is used in determining the number of respondents and also in preventing multiple responses by the same individual.
